St Andrews Cross Lapel Pin- The Patron Saint of Scotland
November 30th is celebrated as St Andrew's Day in Scotland. He was the patron saint whose name means 'manly' but also covers fishmongers, gout, singers, spinsters, maidens, old maids, and women wishing to become mothers. He was a hardy Galilean fisherman whose name means strong and who also had good social skills. He is known for shaming a large crowd of people into sharing their food with the people beside them and for bringing foreigners to meet Jesus. Our St Andrews cross is hand cast in solid, lead-free pewter in our studio in Coventry, RI and is then dipped in gold. It arrives packaged on our signature presentation card, making it ready for gift-giving! This cross pin is very detailed and would make a great addition to any lapel, coat, hat, bag, or name badge.
